“Golden Voice of Kannada”, Honoured with “Dadasaheb
Phalke Award"
At a grand function held on the occasion of 141st Birth
anniversary Celebration of Dadasaheb Phalke, at Bhaidas Auditorium in Mumbai on
30th April, 2010 " Golden Voice of
Kannada” Shri. Shivraj Suvarna, was
conferred with the coveted Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his meritorious service
to the Indian Film Industry. This is a tribute to the voice Artistes of the
Indian entertainment Industry.
The Trophy and Citation was presented by Shri Chagan Bhujbal Hon'ble Dy, Chief
Minister of Maharashtra, in the presence of Veteran cine-artistes like Dev
Anand, Manoj Kumar,Pran, Shriram Lagu , Sulochana and other celebraties.
Shri.
Shivraj Suvarna, is a reputed Drametist, Documentary Film Maker, Director,Writer
and Voice Artiste. He has written moe than 5000 documentary films, quickies, short
films, featurettes etc., on various subjects for Films Division, Govt. of India..
He is also a well-known name in the Kannada Advertising field .
